Dear Members of The California Dental Assistants Association,

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be able to serve you as president of the California Dental Assistants Association.  I have been involved in the CDAA for the past 10 years and the last four of them serving as Vice-President. I have learned so much from the previous CDAA presidents, members, and attendees.

I would like to say thank you to our President Zeña Delling, who has done an excellent job leading the CDAA for the past two years. It has been an honor and privilege for me to serve under her and learn everything that she has taught me. She has contributed in so many ways on so many levels. She is an example to all of us and I am so grateful that I get to follow in her footsteps and join these wonderful and talented board members for the upcoming 2024-2025 year.

As your President, my objectives are to support members in any way that I can by listening to your concerns, creating continuing education meetings both in the north and south, help you grow your career as a dental assistant, and make you proud of this Association you belong to.

Here’s to a great new year with lots of opportunities for all of us to grow, expand, and learn within the California Dental Assistants Association.
